NOTE: Due to a lot of misuse of accounts for spamming and harassing other people I decided to disable the open registration of this server.
Until I find a way to include an email verification in the registration process, newly created accounts will be suspended and need to be activated by an administrator.
Send an email with your account name you want activated to matrix@electrologic.org.
The account will be activated as soon as possible.
I think it is very sad that such measures are necessary and that the internet is full of such an incredible ammount of assholes.
The matrix server electrologic.org Matrix server is public and free to use for anyone. I operate this service for myself, but I welcome anyone as long as I don't have to buy more server hardware. The server runs on continuwuity and has a livekit based Matrix-RTC backend attached.
It is expected by each user to following decent behaviour and not conduct illegal activities (Germany jurisdiction) on this server. That means it is not a space for racists, facists and all other assholes. If there are substantiated complaints about a user of this service, the user will be banned.
